Meet Sandra – experienced, trauma-informed therapist

As a practitioner, I am attuned, grounded, curious, intuitive and compassionate. I believe that by embracing my own vulnerability and humanity, I am better able to connect with clients and support them on their unique healing journeys.

With a trauma-informed approach, I have a comprehensive understanding of how trauma subtly influences relationships and daily life. I integrate a range of therapeutic frameworks, including neuroscience, psychodynamic theory, feminist perspectives, body psychotherapy, and emotionally focused therapy, to offer a holistic and sustainable path to healing.

Depression

Complex and intergenerational trauma

Anxiety and stress-related concerns

Emotional regulation difficulties

Social skills development

Self-esteem and self-worth issues

What is Therapi?

Therapi is a transformative process of gradually accepting and integrating all parts of your story, including the impact of traumatic experiences such as interpersonal and childhood trauma. It involves developing the foundations needed to rebuild a sense of identity, personal agency, self-esteem, and emotional regulation—areas that may have been disrupted by early life events.

Therapi is for anyone feeling stuck, angry, hurt, grieving, or struggling with the mental health challenges that often result from unresolved trauma.

This approach blends talk therapy with a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, evidence-based interventions, somatic (body) psychotherapy, and healing through the therapeutic relationship.

And yes, there’s often a bit of tea drinking involved!

My role is to help you identify old patterns of sabotage or avoidance and work with you to cultivate greater awareness, resilience, autonomy, and the capacity to thrive and flourish.
